Aldershot boosted their bid to escape the National League relegation zone with a 2-0 win at Boston.

Shots goalkeeper Coniah Boyce-Clarke produced a brilliant 13th-minute penalty save to deny Lenell John-Lewis after Frankie Maguire had been fouled.

Moments later Ryan Hill punished Boston further after dispatching Josh Barrett’s ball to the far post.

Theo Widdrington doubled the lead from a James Henry corner after 27 minutes, and Barrett struck a post as the Shots claimed a second successive league win.
