Alloa returned to winning ways after back-to-back defeats to move into the Scottish League One play-off places with a 2-0 victory at struggling Kelty Hearts.

Kurtis Roberts seized on goalkeeper Ryan Adamson’s distribution error to put the visitors ahead in the 43rd minute.

Nine minutes from the end Stefan Scougall doubled their lead with an easy finish inside the six-yard box from Callum Burnside’s cut-back.

Kelty, who have now lost six of their last seven league matches and sit second bottom, had striker Ricco Diack sent off for a second bookable offence in the 90th minute.
