Altrincham eased to their third-straight National League win after scoring a goal in each half to beat struggling Brackley 2-1 at Moss Lane.
The buoyant home side needed just four minutes to get on the scoresheet when James Gale prodded home from close range after Elliot Osborne’s corner.
The visitors came into the game with just one win from their last seven games and their frustration was evident when manager Gavin Cowan was sent to the stands on the half-hour mark.
Tom Crawford made it two by heading in Osborne’s corner three minutes into the second half, before Connor Hall grabbed a consolation goal for the visitors deep into injury time.
