Archy Taylor’s equaliser secured a 2-2 draw for Aldershot against Brackley (Andrew Matthews/PA).

Ten-man Aldershot salvaged a 2-2 draw thanks to Archy Taylor’s 84th-minute equaliser in their Enterprise National League match at home to Brackley.

The hosts had been leading since just before half-time when Josh Barrett converted Dejan Tetek’s cut-back but Ben Jackson’s foul on Gaz Dean not only resulted in a penalty but a second yellow card.

Shane Byrne converted the 66th-minute spot-kick and Matt Lowe, whose earlier header had hit the angle of post and crossbar, put the visitors ahead with his first of the season with eight minutes remaining.

However, Taylor popped up to secure a third successive draw in a five-match unbeaten run to five matches, leaving Brackley four games without victory.
