Boreham Wood continued their outstanding start to the campaign with a 3-0 victory away to Yeovil that left the promoted side third in the National League.

The visitors, unbeaten since an opening day defeat to Rochdale, took the lead 20 minutes in when Abdul Abdulmalik burst down the left, skipping past Andrew Oluwabori before curling a shot home.

Jeff King was then denied by the post before Matt Rush doubled the lead in first-half stoppage time, turning in a cross from Charles Clayden.

Femi Ilesanmi got a decisive third just after the hour, turning in the loose ball after Clayden’s mis-hit shot, but Rush was offside when he had the ball in the net for a fourth time late on.
