Bromley got back to winning ways and moved up to fourth in League Two with a comfortable 3-1 win over relegation-threatened Crawley.

The visitors took the lead in the opening 10 minutes, former Bromley man Harry McKirdy crossing for Ryan Loft to guide a header into the net.

Corey Whitely missed a great chance to equalise, shaving the outside of the post with only Joe Wollacott to beat.

The two sides then traded opportunities as Louie Watson drew a near post save from Grant Smith before Bromley’s Michael Cheek shot narrowly wide.

Bromley drew level two minutes before the interval, Omar Sowunmi heading in his sixth of the season from Mitch Pinnock’s corner.

Just after the restart, Cheek missed two chances, scooping the first over the bar and then smashing the second wide.

However, Idris Odutayo put the home side in front, his deflected drive from 20 yards wrong-footing Wollacott on 49 minutes.

Cheek made the game safe on 69 minutes, slotting the ball home after good work from Whitely.
