Carlisle maintained their unbeaten start to the Enterprise National League season and ended Wealdstone’s 100 per cent record with a 1-0 win.
They went ahead in the 19th minute when Luke Armstrong headed an Archie Davies corner in at the near post.
The hosts could have equalised 10 minutes later, but Deon Woodman planted his header over the crossbar.
Woodman had another chance midway through the second half, but was denied by a fine save from United goalkeeper Gabriel Breeze.
