Substitute Danny Waldron scored a dramatic equaliser as Brackley salvaged a 1-1 home draw with 10-man Scunthorpe.

Both sides had chances to break the deadlock in the first half, but it was still all to play for as the teams came back out for the restart.

It remained a closely-fought contest until Danny Whitehall was brought down and cooly converted from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute to fire Scunthorpe in front.

But Joe Starbuck was sent off for a second yellow three minutes later, and Waldron brought Brackley back on level terms jn the eighth minute of added time.
