Deon Woodman scored the only goal of the game as Wealdstone earned their first win in nine National League games with a 1-0 home victory against Woking.

The decisive moment came in the 66th minute when Anthony Georgiou’s corner was met by towering defender Woodman and he powered a header into the back of the net.

Earlier, Stones midfielder Nathan Tshikuna had flashed a shot wide and Olufela Olomola curled an effort wide early in the second half.

Olomola saw a deflected effort clip the woodwork and go out for a corner, from which Woodman scored the winner.

The win sees Wealdstone move up to 12th, level on points with 11th-placed Woking.
