Fleetwood extended their unbeaten home run with a 3-1 win against struggling Shrewsbury.
Goals from Ryan Graydon, Lewis McCann and Matty Virtue allowed Pete Wild’s side to make it 10 matches without defeat at home across all competitions.
Graydon gave his side the lead with a delicate lob over visiting goalkeeper Will Brook after being put through on goal by Virtue.
The Cod Army then doubled their advantage just before the hour when McCann cut inside and flashed a ball across goal that found the far corner via a ricochet off opposing defender Sam Stubbs.
The points were sealed thanks to a controlled finish from Virtue, who placed a neat side-footed finish into the bottom corner through a crowded penalty area.
Arsenal loanee Ismeal Kabia pulled a goal back for Shrewsbury seven minutes from time but it was not enough to spark a fightback from Michael Appleton’s side.
Fleetwood finished the game with 10 men after James Bolton was dismissed in the dying seconds for an off-the-ball altercation with Chuks Aneke.
