Forest Green extended their unbeaten National League run to 18 matches with a 2-0 win over Dagenham which took them up to second in the table.

Rovers bounced back from their fifth-round FA Trophy exit to Oxford City courtesy of goals from Kyle McAllister and Charlie McCann at Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Striker McAllister cut inside and produced a clinical finish into the bottom corner to put the visitors ahead in the 22nd minute.

After the break he turned provider as he unselfishly picked out McCann, who finished past Elliot Justham to wrap up the win.
