Forest Green missed out on the chance to go top of the National League after coming from behind to draw 1-1 against mid-table Solihull Moors.

Leaders Rochdale saw their fixture against Southend abandoned but second-placed Forest Green fell behind after 43 minutes when Alex Whitmore looped a header over a defender before half-volleying into the net.

Harry Whitwell was denied by the post before half-time and then saw his strike after the resumption kept out by a goal-line clearance from James Clarke, who repeated his last-gasp heroics moments later.

Nick Haughton levelled in the 62nd minute with a fine low strike from outside the area but Rovers were unable to go on and bag the winner that would have seen them leapfrog Rochdale.
