A Greg Sloggett goal with 11 minutes left helped Boston beat Wealdstone 2-1 in the Enterprise National League on Monday.

The Lincolnshire side forged ahead three minutes into the second half with Lenell John-Lewis scoring his third goal of the season in the 48th minute, tapping in after good work from Kieren Donnelly on the right.

Micah Obiero levelled for the visitors with just over 20 minutes to go, and then hit the post with a header seconds later.

That near-miss proved costly for Wealdstone as Sloggett swept in a second for the hosts to make it two wins and two defeats for the Pilgrims in their first four matches, and a second successive defeat for Wealdstone after three wins to start their campaign.
