Cody Johnson’s second-half winner earned play-off hopefuls Halifax a 2-1 victory over Boston in the Enterprise National League.

Owen Bray converted a delivery from winger Angelo Cappello to give the hosts an 18th-minute lead at the Shay.

On-loan Norwich forward Ken Aboh levelled for Boston just seven minutes later by powering home his first goal for the club from inside the 18-yard box.

Midfielder Johnson restored the Shaymen’s advantage five minutes into the second period, turning into the net after Will Smith flicked on a cross from Jay Turner-Cooke.
