Bottom side Morecambe produced a stunning late comeback to earn a hard-fought 2-2 draw in their Sky Bet League Two Lancashire Derby at Fleetwood.

First-half goals from Ryan Graydon and Ronan Coughlan had seemingly put the hosts on course for victory at Highbury.

Yann Songo’o pulled one back with 16 minutes to go before substitute Hallam Hope’s dramatic 86th-minute leveller.

Morecambe boss Derek Adams, whose side are still searching for a first win of the season, watched on from the stands as he served a touchline ban.

Shrimps’ stopper Stuart Moore made 11 saves to keep the visitors in the game.

Coughlan teased the danger he possesses as he struck a post early on, while Moore frustrated both Danny Mayor and Coughlan before half-time.

At the other end, Morecambe hit the woodwork themselves when Jamie Stott nodded against the bar.

The hosts’ pressure told in the 34th minute as Graydon headed home Mayor’s corner.

It was two in stoppage time as Phoenix Patterson’s pass unlocked the defence for Coughlan to slot home his fourth of the campaign.

Songo’o netted Morecambe’s first away goal of the campaign before Hope stole a share of the spoils late on as he chested down Marcus Dackers’ cross and fired home.
