Huddersfield’s disappointing League One campaign continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Wigan.
The first half was a drab affair with both sides taking a cautious approach, but the Terriers took the lead after 34 minutes as Murray Wallace headed home Lynden Gooch’s free-kick.
Wigan hit back seven minutes after the break, though, with Callum Wright playing a ball in behind the Huddersfield defence for Raphael Borges Rodrigues.
Goalkeeper Lee Nicholls looked like he was capable of getting to the pass but hesitated and allowed the Wigan forward to squeeze a shot into the net.
Raphael went close to giving the visitors the lead 10 minutes later but his shot from the corner of the box hit the crossbar.
Neither side was able to create any significant chances thereafter, with the Huddersfield fans making their feelings towards manager Lee Grant known as the game drew to an uneventful end.
