Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has received a three-match ban for pinching the nose of Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk.
The incident took place after the pair became embroiled in a touchline altercation following Fenerbahce’s 2-1 Turkish Cup defeat on Wednesday, earning Mourinho a red card.
A Turkish Football Federation statement read: “Fenerbahce technical manager Jose Mario Dos Santos Mourinho Felix, due to his unsportsmanlike conduct towards an opposing team member, was penalised with a ban of three official matches and a fine of 292,500 TL (around £6,000).”

Buruk was lying on his back as former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Mourinho was dragged away from the remarkable flashpoint.
Mourinho had just seen his side crash out of the quarter-finals of the Turkish Cup.
Fenerbahce stood by Mourinho after the clash, releasing a statement saying that Buruk had incited the incident and then dramatised his reaction.
The Istanbul club also hinted former Turkey midfielder Buruk had been a diver in his playing days.
