Josh Stones scored deep into added time to secure 10-man York a 2-2 draw against Boston at LNER Community Stadium.

After winger Alex Newby saw his shot crash against the crossbar, York – who had won seven straight Enterprise National League games to close up on the top of the table – went ahead in the 38th minute through Ollie Pearce.

Minstermen winger Ollie Banks was shown a straight red card in the 64th minute for a challenge on Boston defender Alex Lankshear, who then equalised in the 73rd minute.

Connor Teale’s header with four minutes left looked to have won it for the Pilgrims, but Stones fired home in the sixth minute of added time to snatch a point.
