Crawley came from behind twice to earn a point from a 2-2 draw at Gillingham.

Bradley Dack opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time before Geraldo Bajrami headed the visitors level and Robbie McKenzie slotted home a penalty for Gills.

Kabongo Tshimanga, on as a substitute, converted a low cross in the closing stages.

The visitors went close early on when a counter-attack was led by Josh Flint. He drove into the Gills box but was thwarted by an impressive Jake Turner.

Scott Lindsey’s men went even closer when Charlie Barker’s ball was headed on by Bajrami, but his effort struck a post.

The Gills rallied with Remeao Hutton and Nelson Khumbeni having efforts well saved by Joe Wollacott. Sam Gale also went close with a header, while Ade Adeyemo saw a deflected shot hit the bar.

A smart corner routine opened the scoring with Max Clark rolling a perfect ball into the path of Dack, who thundered an effort into the top corner.

Crawley responded shortly after the interval when a corner of their own was headed home by Bajrami.

The Gills were awarded a penalty shortly after for handball and McKenzie converted.

Substitute Tshimanga, however, had the final say when he slotted home from close range.
