Nothing could separate two of League One’s most in-form teams as Rotherham and Wycombe played out an exciting 1-1 draw.
Wycombe took the lead through Jamie Mullins in the first half before Kian Spence sent the home fans wild with a thunderous volley 20 minutes from time.
Mullins opened the scoring for the Chairboys in the 14th minute, heading in from close range after Fred Onyedinma’s deflected cross fell nicely for the Irish midfielder.
Spence looked certain to equalise for The Millers at the start of the second half but Wycombe goalkeeper Mikki Van Sas did incredibly well to block his effort from inside the box.
Cauley Woodrow came close to doubling his side’s lead midway through the second half but it was Spence who levelled the game in the 70th minute.
He volleyed in from close range after Ar’Jany Martha found him unmarked just eight yards out.
Rotherham are now nine league games unbeaten while Wycombe stretched their run to eight.
