Kyle McAllister scored twice as Forest Green held off an Aldershot fightback to claim a 3-2 win in the Enterprise National League.
McAllister opened the scoring in the 25th minute after he collected a pass from Jayden Clarke and coolly slotted home before Clarke turned finisher to put the visitors two up seven minutes before the break.
McAllister cut back on to his left foot and fired home his second in the 61st minute.
Aldershot came back into the contest with two goals in four minutes from Ciaran Gilligan and Kwame Thomas, but they could not find an equaliser.
