Kyle Wootton scored a brace as high-flying Stockport came from behind to beat Plymouth 2-1 in League One.
Caleb Watts put Tom Cleverley’s side ahead after 42 minutes as they looked to extend their unbeaten run to seven games.
But Wootton struck twice in the second-half, with his 85th-minute winner securing fourth-placed County a fourth win in five games.
Argyle threatened to take an eighth-minute lead when striker Aribim Pepple glanced a header wide.
Brendan Sarpong-Wiredu curled wide from distance before referee Sam Allison ruled Watts had dived in the box as the away side continued on the front foot.
Plymouth centre-back Mathias Ross then powered a header against the crossbar from Ronan Curtis’ corner.
And Argyle took a deserved lead when Ross’ volley across goal was diverted in from close range by Watts.
But Stockport restored parity after 69 minutes when Malik Mothersille’s teasing low cross was flicked home by Wootton.
Dave Challinor’s men completed the turnaround five minutes from time when Wootton headed home Jack Diamond’s cross for his 15th league goal this campaign.
Substitute Owen Dale rattled the crossbar with a fierce drive from distance as Stockport survived a late scare to secure victory.
