Kadeem Harris’ stoppage-time header earned Salford a 1-1 draw at home to bottom club Cheltenham in Sky Bet League Two.

The Robins led through George Miller’s 76th-minute strike and, despite dominating much of the game, the Ammies had to wait until the third minute of added time to find a leveller.

Goalkeeper Joe Day saved from Josh Austerfield in the 18th minute before blocking well from Kallum Cesay five minutes later as the pressure began to mount on the visitors.

Austerfield was denied by Day again but Miller headed Arkell Jude-Boyd’s cross just wide in the 38th minute after a rare Cheltenham attack.

Ros Longelo saw a backheel blocked on the line in the 49th minute as Salford carried on where they left off in the second half, before Cheltenham stunned the home crowd in the 56th minute.

Luke Young found Jude-Boyd on the right and his low ball into the middle was turned into the roof of the net by Miller from six yards.

Lee Angol set up Miller for a good chance to make it 2-0 but Matty Young saved in the 64th minute.

Salford pushed Cheltenham back and eventually the visitors crumbled, with Longelo’s fine cross headed in by Harris to ensure honours finished even.
