Lenell John-Lewis hit a first-half brace and added an assist as Boston ended a five-game winless run with a 3-0 victory at Morecambe which left the hosts stuck in the relegation zone.
John-Lewis opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, arriving on cue to turn Matty Carson’s low cross from the left into the net.
The veteran striker then turned provider, poking the ball through for Dylan Hill who held off a challenge from Maldini Kacurri before slipping the ball beyond Jamal Blackman.
And John-Lewis then killed the contest before half-time as a vicious strike beat the goalkeeper with the help of a big deflection off Ludwig Francillette.
