Goals from Lewis Stevenson and Lewis Vaughan helped Raith continue their unbeaten start to the Scottish Championship season by beating Dunfermline 2-0 at Stark’s Park.

The home side came flying out of the traps and Stevenson struck inside two minutes after good work from Dylan Easton down the left – the 37-year-old’s first goal since last September.

A fine save from Pars goalkeeper Mason Munn kept out a Josh Mullin free-kick while Charlie Gilmour headed straight at Josh Rae as the visitors searched for an equaliser.

But Vaughan doubled Raith’s advantage with 12 minutes left, firing an effort into the bottom corner from just inside the box, before Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen missed a great chance for the visitors.
