Matt Rush scored a stoppage-time winner as Boreham Wood snatched a dramatic 2-1 victory over fellow Enterprise National League newcomers Truro at Meadow Park.

The Cornish side had been moments away from claiming their first point since their promotion to the fifth tier when Rush pounced in the third added-on minute.

Truro had impressed early on with Will Dean and Rekeil Pyke going close before Tom White opened the scoring with his first goal for Boreham Wood after 27 minutes.

Dean levelled with a header before the break and both sides had chances to take all the points before Rush had the final say.
