Boreham Wood continued their strong start to the Enterprise National League season with a 1-0 victory over Woking.

It was a seventh win from their opening 11 games for Wood, for whom Matt Rush scored the only goal in the 33rd minute.

It came from a long throw from Chris Bush, with Callum Reynolds flicking on into the path of Rush, who applied the finish.

Rush twice came close to adding to the lead but was denied by Will Jaaskelainen while, at the other end, Finn Herrick produced a fine save to keep out Jamie Andrews’ deflected shot.
