Morecambe threw away a three-goal lead against Wealdstone before snatching a late 4-3 National League win.

First-half goals from Jack Nolan, Elijah Dixon-Bonner and Admiral Muskwe had the home side in control before Max Kretzschmar, Micah Obiero and Alfie Massey replied for Wealdstone, but substitute Emmerson Sutton grabbed the winner in the 86th minute.

Nolan fired into the top corner after only five minutes and debutant Dixon-Bonner, on loan from QPR, made it two in the 38th minute. Jake Cain then handed Muskwe a simple finish a minute before the break.

Kretzschmar pulled one back on the stroke of half-time and Obiero deflected Jack Cook’s powerful effort into the net in the 74th minute to give Wealdstone real hope.

Massey fired into the bottom corner from the edge of the area to equalise in the 80th minute, only for Sutton to slot home a dramatic winner.
