Ollie Pearce scored twice to keep York in the Enterprise National League play-off places after a 4-0 victory over Wealdstone.

The Minstermen opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Malachi Fagan-Walcott headed home a corner at the back post.

York doubled their lead seven minutes later as Pearce reacted quickest to tap in the rebound following Dante Baptiste’s save from an Alex Newby header.

Pearce added his second of the day on the hour mark by lifting the ball over Baptiste before Newby completed the scoring in the 75th minute.
