Rochdale remained one point clear at the top of the National League despite being held to a 0-0 draw by Woking.

Dale, looking for a ninth win in 10 league games, dominated the first half and were denied an opener by a brilliant save from Will Jaaskelainen, who reacted quickly to keep out Kyron Gordon’s effort from Kevin Berkoe’s cross.

Emmanuel Dieseruvwe, the National League’s joint top-scorer, headed against the crossbar in the second half as Dale’s pressure continued.

And Woking somehow held on for a point thanks to some brilliant late goalkeeping from Jaaskelainen, who saved Devante Rodney’s free-kick and then, after a follow-up effort from Gordon was cleared off his line, he recovered to tip over Ethan Ebanks-Landell’s header.
