Substitute Ryan Graydon scored the winner as Fleetwood twice came from behind to beat Harrogate 3-2 in Sky Bet League Two.

Graydon tapped in  12 minutes from time after Harrogate had twice led through goals from captain Warren Burrell and in-form striker Jack Muldoon.

However, Ched Evans’ introduction as a 71st-minute replacement turned the game Fleetwood’s way almost immediately.

The striker’s first touch was a blocked header and his second was swept home by Cod Army captain Elliot Bonds for his first goal since the opening game of the season.

Evans then unselfishly laid on Graydon’s 78th-minute winner as Fleetwood earned only their third win in 11 fourth tier games.

The visitors though will wonder how they did not secure at least a draw. Burrell converted Reece Smith’s cross after 16 minutes and the Sulphurites were denied further goals by two Jay Lynch saves and a Muldoon miss.

Will Davies equalised after 31 minutes before Muldoon’s fourth goal in five games after 56 minutes restored Harrogate’s lead.

But Fleetwood’s super subs swung the contest with Graydon’s goal proving decisive.
