Swindon kept up the pressure at the top of League Two with a 2-1 victory at fellow promotion-chasers Chesterfield.
Goals in either half from Finley Munroe – who was sent off late on – and Joe Snowdon gave them a vital win. John Fleck scored for the home side, who were unable to equalise despite having plenty of possession.
Ian Holloway’s side took an eighth-minute lead when Munroe met Ollie Palmer’s cross and headed powerfully past keeper Zach Hemming.
The hosts levelled just two minutes later when Chey Dunkley’s header from a Liam Mandeville corner found Fleck, who hammered the ball beyond keeper Connor Ripley.
Lee Bonis went close to putting the home side ahead, seeing an effort deflected wide, hitting the foot of a post from close range and having a shot saved by Ripley.
In the 61st minute, Hemming could only push Will Wright’s corner down into the path of Snowdon, who fired into the net for the winner.
Swindon substitute Jake Tabor struck the woodwork two minutes from time while Munroe collected a second booking in time added on.
