Tamworth recorded back-to-back Enterprise National League wins for the first time since March with a 1-0 victory over Eastleigh in a game which saw both sides have players sent off.

The visitors played over an hour with 10 men after Temitope Eweka was dismissed for bringing down Manny Duku but goalkeeper Nick Townsend gave them hope by saving the striker’s spot-kick.

Duku was not to be denied, however, and headed home a 49th-minute corner.

The numbers were evened up when Tamworth defender Kwaku Donkor was sent off for a second bookable offence with 15 minutes to go but Eastleigh, after three wins in four, could not find a way back despite 10 minutes of added time.
