Rochdale continued their strong start to the new National League season with a 2-1 comeback victory at home to Altrincham.

Having beaten Boreham Wood in their opening match, Dale kept up their 100 per cent record after coming from behind.

Altrincham took the lead in the 19th minute, Keaton Ward volleying in after good work from Kahrel Reddin, but Tarryn Allarakhia equalised 16 minutes later with a superb finish from the edge of the area.

Allarakhia almost put Dale ahead early in the second half only to see a shot cleared off the line but he was involved again in the winner on the hour mark, with his ball to the back post finding the net via a deflection off the unfortunate Tylor Golden.
