Temi Babalola fired a double as Forest Green hit back to beat 10-man Tamworth 4-2 at the New Lawn to climb up to third in the Enterprise National League.

Tamworth defender Jordan Cullinane-Liburd was shown a straight red card in the fifth minute for his challenge on Isaac Moore before Manny Duku’s superb effort gave the visitors the lead.

Babalola’s overhead kick hit a post but the home side struck twice in two first-half minutes through Kyle McAllister’s penalty and a tap-in from Babalola, who headed Forest Green 3-1 up in the second half.

Nick Haughton pounced on a defensive error to lash in the home side’s fourth in the 81st minute, before Joseph Rye headed Tamworth’s second in the closing stages.
