January signing Terrell Works scored his first goal since September as Yeovil snatched a late 1-0 victory at Altrincham.

The on-loan Fulham academy forward, in only his second appearance since joining after a spell at Braintree earlier this season, came off the bench in the second half to grab the only goal in the 87th minute.

Luke McCormick ran through one-on-one with Luke Hutchinson and although his effort was pushed away by the goalkeeper, the 21-year-old Works was on hand to inflict Altrincham’s seventh defeat in the last 10 league matches.

Victory lifted the visitors above their opponents and into 14th, six points clear of the bottom four.
