Trent Alexander-Arnold will be unveiled by Real Madrid on Thursday lunchtime.
Real announced the signing of the England full-back at the end of last month after paying Liverpool a fee to secure his services a few weeks before his contract officially ended.
That means Alexander-Arnold will be available for the Club World Cup, and a formal signing ceremony will take place at Real Madrid City at 12.30pm local time.

The 26-year-old, who has committed to a six-year deal in the Spanish capital, will then speak to the media.
Madrid’s announcement brought to an end a long-running saga over the future of Alexander-Arnold, who came through the youth ranks at Liverpool before making his debut in 2016.
His unveiling will come two days after that of defender Dean Huijsen, who also headed from the Premier League to LaLiga after leaving Bournemouth.
Real, under new coach Xabi Alonso, will start their Club World Cup campaign against Al-Hilal at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
