Josh Kelly scored from the spot as Woking eased their way to a 3-1 National League victory at Altrincham.

Ashley Boatswain swept the visitors into a 24th-minute lead and was denied a second by a fine save from Altrincham keeper Louie Fallon four minutes later.

The hosts were back in it nine minutes before the break when Jimmy Knowles dispatched a Kahrel Reddin cross past Will Jaaskelainen, but Woking restored their advantage six minutes later, Jack Turner turning smartly before firing home.

It was 3-1 with seven minutes remaining when, having been brought down in the box by Sam Reed, Kelly dusted himself down before converting the resulting penalty to cement the victory.
