Struggling Aldershot slipped to a seventh successive defeat in the National League after local rivals Woking came from behind to claim a 2-1 win at the EBB Stadium.
Aldershot might have been dreaming of a first win since September 20 when they went ahead in the 29th minute when Ryan Jones’ free-kick was met by Will Nightingale, who leapt highest to head home.
But the side from 11 miles away at the Laithwaite Community Stadium were level within seven minutes as a cross from the left allowed Chinwike Okoli to head beyond Aldershot goalkeeper Pat Nash.
And Woking were able to claim all three points as substitute Joshua Osude scored with his first touch after replacing Josh Kelly, latching on to Olly Sanderson’s ball through before firing beyond Nash.
